State Education Establishment, “Khmelnytskyi Vocational Training Centre, Services Sector”is subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. This is a third (higher) attestation level institution. It trains qualified workers with a high level of qualification in technologically complex, science-intensive professions.

restaurant industry (business)
bakery and pasta manufacturing
sewing production
services sector
general professions of electrical engineering production.
At the same time as obtaining working professions, 88% of students obtain a full general secondary education.90% of the contingent receive qualifications in technologically related professions.
To ensure the educational process, a suitable material and technical base has been created: comfortable classrooms,
educational and production workshops.The infrastructure of our Centre is developed for the services of students: an assembly hall, a sports hall, a stadium, a library with a reading room, a canteen, a coffee shop, a medical center, a student dormitory, and access to the Internet is provided.The main areas of work are increasing the effectiveness of educational classes, combining traditional and innovative methods of the educational process with the use of digital technologies, and developing electronic educational content. The teaching staff successfully solves today’s tasks and confidently looks to the future.
The center has experience of many years of cooperation with social partners (educational institutions, state institutions, public organizations, enterprises, etc.), which are direct participants in the educational process. Social partners actively cooperate with the Center at all stages of activity. This makes it possible to adapt to changes in the economy, technology, and the labor market.Socio-psychological support of education seekers is provided in our Centre. We areconsidering age and psychological characteristics. Financial support and assistance are provided to the privileged categories.The psychological service and the understanding service are engaged in the formation of a safe educational environment through the implementation of a restorative approach.Students could acquire certain knowledge for the harmonious development of physical and mental health. Seminars, lectures, master classes, trainings, art therapy classes are held with the participants of the educational process.
There are two centers on the basis of our Centre. These are an Educational and Practical Center of
ModernSewing Technologies and Design and an Educational and Practical Center of Technological Innovations in the Food Industry and Restaurant Industry. This is an innovative, practice-oriented, scientific and educational professional space for the implementation of tasks related to practical training and holistic development of education seekers. We are retraining of the unemployed population, advanced training of specialists in the garment industry, food industry, restaurant industry, as well as teaching staff of vocational educational institutions. Seminars-workshops, conferences, trainings, master classes, professional skill competitions are organized and held in the relevant professions.
The structural unit of an educational institution is a Qualification center. Evaluation and recognition of the results oftraining of individuals is carried out here. Knowledge can be acquired through non-formal or informal education. Professional qualifications are also assigned and/or confirmed in the following professions: a tailor, a confectioner, a cook, a restaurant service master.
A social workshop was created with the support of the city government, the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. All residents of Khmelnytskyi, especially low-income families, pensioners and students, can quickly and qualitatively receive clothing repair services at low prices.
The activity of the “Professional” agency was launched in the Center. Its purpose is the professional self-determination of students of the city’s schools, the formation of a harmonious creative personality, and the expansion of the range of key competencies of all students.Pupils show their interest in their chosen profession by their own example in the form of an individual or collective game. Practical classes are held. During these classes students usually learn about the specifics of the labor professions in the garment industry, restaurant industry, and bakery industry. They always make various products and spend their time with pleasure.The activities of the Career Center are aimed at helping students and graduates in their search for a job. They form the qualities of a young specialist and learn to adapt to the modern requirements of the labor market. They also receive informational and advisory support for young people in starting their own business.The high quality of the educational process is the key to obtaining professional qualifications for a successful career throughout life.
